Neutrogena MicroClear Makeup Review

Acne is a problem many teens girls and boys suffer from all over the world, it is a problem that some times has no cure. It could of course have a legitimate medical cure out there some where in the land of a way but from some, and should I say "most" teens, it is something that they can not afford to shell out for skin care products.

I do of course tell those with great skin to not take it for granted and advise them highly to use cleanser and use moisturizer.

Quote of the day:

If you want to age like fine wine, put on moisturizer daily without a whine.

Please try your best to do it daily, me being someone that has been struggling with active acne, can not find it in myself to remember to follow the one hundred step process put into my before bed skin care routine, and so naturally some one with fantastic looking skin will probably be lazier off than I am. Yet please look at the above quote and go look a wrinkled dried prune or something for inspiration if you are someone that has to be told the nasty to do the good, that prevents the nasty. I feel like my last sentence was a long ramble that made no sense which it probably was. Forgive me for it is late.

Well since I have tried out this product very recently I thought that I would do a review on it to share with you all:-

Neutrogena Skin Clearing Micro Clear Make up

Reveiw

There line to the extent of my knowledge consists of foundation, concealer and pressed mineral powder.

I have tried the foundation and LOVE the hell out of it and I will list the reasons why I am in love with it below:- (yes I am being all fancy and what not with a bulleted list wooo)

1. It has a perfect finish.

It is not oily and it is ALSO not too matte and know I know usually people with acne have oily skin, and when you have oily skin, you usually want a matte finish YET, I have found that matte finishes usually are the things that contribute to a cake-y looking face. You might think that you are having problems with your foundation because you keep putting on layers, and you might, but you also might not, because it could be the fact that the matte finish to it, when you wear it out through the day it starts either

a) oil up as your skin

b) dries out matches of your skin

either way causing your skin to look like this:-

DAN DAN DA DAAAA!!! (that was supposed to be creepy horror movie sound effect sorry if it did not float your boat)

Yeah I know you kinda have to look close at this pic to see whats really wrong, and it was the best I could find. Hey! No one likes to photograph them selves with patchy flaky cakey makeup okay!!

2. It blends in very well

Cheap blending option:-

I use it with a ELF powder face brush that I got from target! (amazing brush btw) and it blends it in perfectly

Pricey Blending Option:-

Real techniques stippling brush I bought at Ulta

3. High coverage

Remember foundation is not meant to replace your concealer, it is not meant to cover up all your imperfections but to even skin tones and cancel out some discolorations in skin.

But having acne a fuller coverage is usually wanted because that way you can spend less amount of concealer on your face lessening the cake-yness of your makeup over all.

4. FIGHTS AGAINST ACNE

Now many critics have fought on the fact that the amount of Salicylic Acid is to little to make a dent in any ones acne, well this is what I have to say to that:- YOUR WRONG. Because it really has helped mine, I am not fully cured due to foundation, but that is not what it is meant to do, it is meant to be another preventative measure against newer acne you might get.

Andd... It totally works, I work hard on keeping my face clean and as acne free as I can get it, but during the day I have to leave the house in makeup and knowing that the makeup I have on at least won't be making it worse, keeps me at piece of mind, which maybe part of why it works! Who knows? Overall, I love it and give it a

9 stars out of 10 !
