MAC CONCEALER - Matching to your skin type
Prolongwear Concealer by MAC
Prolongwear concealer is really good if you have oily to combination skin, and especially if you have acne or scarring to cover up, because alot of people double it up as a foundation. It had full coverage if that is what you are looking for, and it doesn't have a heavy feel to the skin. It also comes in alot of shades for all skin tones. From experience the foundation that MAC usually matches to oily skin has a tendency to break people out if they have sensitive skin or easily acne prone type skin, and so they end up doubling up this concealer as a foundation. A little does go along way, because it does come in a small bottle you might be scared in thinking that it will last you just a month but it does last as long as a 100 ml foundation, due to the tiny amount required and when I use it I use it as only as a foundation, and use a different thing as my concealer. I recommend for this concealer to be applied with a foundation brush when covering up large areas of exposed acne or scars.
Studio Finish Concealer by MAC
Studio finish is better for hiding blemishes on the skin then it is for concealing under eye circle, because it has a tendency to just sit in there as do all thicker creamier more concealer's that come in pots or palettes as opposed to liquid concealer's. I recommend this concealer to people who do make up on others because it can be applied underneath foundation without budging when you blend over there true to color foundation, so the concealer being a little off won't really make that big of a difference. Also I recommend it for normal to dry skin on people with oily skin it will throughout the day start to transfer with the mix of naturally produced oils. Recommended to be applied with a brush.
Select Cover up Concealer by MAC
Amazing concealer this one is, I love it not going to lie. If this seems overally advertised I am so sorry, because it really just is a fave of mine. It is a liquidy form of concealer perfect in concealing under eye circle or even blemishes, works well on oily and normal skin, I don't see it working amazingly on SUPER dry skin. It does not transfer and also comes in a wide range of shades for many skin tones. A little goes a long way, and can be applied with ur finger or a brush. But when using this concealer, even though I like using brushes with my makeup more than my hands, I feel like this one is best warmed in the skin with ur finger when covering scars or ance. When under ur eyes as well, using you fingers is best but gently pressing it into the skin.
Select Mositurecover and Minerlize Concealor
These two concealers I honestly can say that you need to go into the store and have a test at because each of my opinions on what skin type goes best with on the above concealers has been from experience on doing makeup on different skin types, my own makeup and even some tips from my sister. These two especially Minerlize cover never seems to react the same on any skin type, my client the other day broke out from it while she has oily acne prone skin, just like me, and I have no problem with it.
If you are in love with Moisturecover concealer by MAC I have a cheat for you, and exact dupe to it, in texture and lift and moisture is the Mayballine Angel lift concealer it really is exactly them same, have less of a selection of colors, but if you can find your color and you try it you will never go back to Moisturecover concealer as I haven't. It's nice when you want the under eye lift and high cheek bone affect like Kim Kardashion, and it blends beautifully.
Comment below guys if you have tried out some of these concealers and though differently if you want a dupe comparison blog post.
